Omg...TRADING FREEDOM...I love this. Im currently dealing with a very similar situation with no help. This is so uplifting in delivering hope,understanding to myself, other dealing with the same or similar issues. Brittany I promise you broke down each crucial step that effects me daily heavily but more than anything you definitely give me hope. Thank you so much it means more than you know it.

"Play by the Rules" or No Kids is exactly what occurs in family court. Brittany Spears knew she had to play the game in order to have any contact with her children. Family court does get around women's legal rights. Women in turn have to get around family court as best they can. Systemic male entitlement will continue to rule family court until a new system replaces it. Women must continue to fight for a new system.

I made it to 20 SWAT-like cops. How is this possible? Why would the law get involved with her parents sting? Who paid these cops? I'd like to know. And don't all abusers love to turn the tables and after having the cops called on them for actual violence, in retaliation they will take out a fake emergency r. order and send the cops over to your house when they think you might be vulnerable... as in "swatting". My ex did this to me from age 26 to 66 yrs old. 6 years after his death ongoing because he left a hit on me. Yes he had money. Yes I got full custody after 3 years of torture but a measly child support order of only $179 a month though he was heir-intent of a family fortune he could tap at will but they let him claim indigents every time he forced me back into court. But I let it go for 11 years without modifying because I knew the game was rigged, until I became disabled from working 16 hour days 7 days a week. Eight more years of court before they would charge him with contempt if he didn't pay all those years in arrears, in full plus interest which he did easily to avoid jail but then ratcheted up the gangstalking and cybercrime where we are today; domestic terrorism organized by the the United States government. Things don't look like they're getting any better anytime soon for Women, especially mothers. Thanks for this post, TWC.

I was convinced to go to rehab also right away when they took my daughter although having almost 10 yrs sober. I did it to appease the courts. Which then in turn was used against me.
