A jury awarded a Colorado mother $8 million for her ex-husband’s use of false allegations to take her children and alienate them from her. He was found liable for outrageous conduct, abuse of process and conspiracy (with the stepmother). The frosting on the cake: She also received $1 million from the stepmother for outrageous conduct and conspiracy (with the father). Her fiancé was awarded $14 million for defamation for false allegations of sexual abuse.

The fact that none of the entities involved, other than Family Court, substantiated the sexual abuse should not necessarily be relied on, since they rarely substantiate—unless it is a minority or poor man. There is often no physical evidence of sexual abuse and children sometimes retract true disclosures. But in this case the boy clearly told a forensic interviewer that his father had told him what to say. Whereas, children in PSC cases never say their mother told them to say they were abused—the judge just makes a finding the mother coached them (to alienate them) with nothing to support it. This is the #1 tactic used to switch custody.
Good for her; we need to keep fighting back- I will continue my fight as long as I can-🥲 family court is a nightmare, and if your ex is a narcissist, you can guarantee he will use the family court system to his advantage, one day hopefully I will get to tell my story, but for now I will continue to help others out!!
Family court does enable males to use children to destroy women. Children are often destroyed in the process. Women and children will suffer as long as family court exists. Male entitlement must no longer be allowed to fuel family court. Family court judges must be replaced by juries. Mothers and their children will then have a chance at a just outcome. Family court needs to end.
Good for her! It seems that FC all over the US is favoring men that dont deserve to have custody. Mine dragged me thru FC drained my bank accounts to where now I have no money for myself, cancer treatments or to even have my kids all while brain washing them into thinking I am the problem when his family does not talk talk to him. Evil is evil and one day our kids will see him for who he is.. EVIL
I am very troubled by some of the advocacy groups who refuse to acknowledge alienation, attack women for even using that term, and then tout their own high priced mental health professionals and coaches, classes and other services. On the other hand, I’m aware that some of the anti alienation groups are men’s rights orgs in disguise. I’m not sure where that leaves things, but it feels like a sad state of affairs for women who too often work against each other…
Myself and my children were victims of the courts that refused to see and punish a man that systematically alienated our children. I couldn't fight against not only his lies, but his money and legal associations. I haven't seen my children in 8 years due to the brain washing and lies. Child abuse was substantiated against him, but the legal system never held him accountable. My prayers go out to anyone that goes through this! The courts need to open their eyes to alienation. If they don't, they are just as culpable!!!!!
In Vermont and my situation is similar.. because of the past DV with my x I'm always scared to fight back, its a pain that is undescribale it affects my everyday life . There are no resources here to help and I feel like I will never be able to get anywhere.
Can you give more information on this case. Such as who she filed suit against and on what grounds. I pray she sued the judge, cps and any other govt agent associated with the case
Have her lawyer get a hold of me I'm in this 40 years now have all the dots connected all the names all the documents all the evidence all the witness testimony and I'll kick down to you if you do when I win big time I want 40 years times that. The cartels lawyers had me blacklisted with the Bar Association so I'm the Hot Potato but I've had some excellent unassuming attorneys get me out of a lot of crunches they tried to frame me for but the savaging that so many of us have gone through needs to be avenged. Maybe this will be the start of the avalanche that takes out these judges and their henchmen and subhuman handmaidens.
All too familiar. The misogyny of the system. 6 years of abuse through the system after years of abuse in the marriage, sold every I owned to pay my lawyers in hopes of protecting my children from further abuse (completely futile), after I exhausted my efforts and resources in family court and was forced to walk away, my ex not only assaulted my youngest, he writes to me stating that he harmed the children (all 3; 2 now adults) right under the noses of those who should know how to help but sadly do not. He took pleasure that he manipulated the entire system (police, children’s aid, reintegration therapist and the courts) and he is so brazen that he put in written form, obviously emboldened by the system who covered up all his abuse. Just awaiting criminal assault charges to be dealt with. Family court and the “children’s protection” services need to be abolished. We need Child centred therapeutic systems in place not abuser-centric systems. My heart goes out to all the mamas that have been caught up in this system that needs to be stripped back until every shred of misogyny is nonexistent. It’s time to take back our god-given power to be mothers in every sense of the word. I truly believe we are in this mess to help usher in a new long-awaited system that is so desperately needed.

This is par for the course of the JUDICIARY BODY OF GOVT remaining "stealth" and obdurate in the Family Courts being ineffectve, trespassing, violating, exploitative, and torturous; resulting in more harm than good.
The destruction, psychological splitting, irreparable injury, & transgenerational trauma being inflicted on a collective but specific to the gender based violence against women & children is CENTURIES old and centuries WRONG!
1) my case would win too but I don't have the fiscal wherewithal to sue civilly on my own. Besides, unless the Ex is in fact a millionaire; when will the plaintiff be compensated if ever?
2) With the findings; the Ex should be criminally prosecuted. Coercion, perjury, false reportihg, fraud, intentional harm!! These are criminal acts for which were coberated, colluded, & dually inflicted by the court actors!
3) The children Not BEING RETURNED IMMEDIATELY, only emboldens more of the same Failure all around. The Courts continue to slide away unscathed..
The $$ should be coming from the broken ecosystem with some direct fiscal impact to the participants pockets.. The abuser should be in jail.

Lie detector tests for accusations of abuse. Lying in family court should be treated the same as lying in criminal matters.
