NY Mom Captured in Hiding 3 Years Ago Jailed Again—4th Time!
And: Vive la Révolution!
A New York mom who was captured in hiding three years ago in New Mexico has been jailed again—for the fourth time.
These escalating incarcerations are occurring because she has continued to fight zealously for her children and her rights; and, probably more saliently, for continuing to expose judges and their co-conspirators who’ve inflicted horrible injustices upon her. These include the taking of her children and prevention of her seeing or even speaking with them—for three years and counting.
Although we post about a lot of cases that involve torturous acts against women who are simply trying to maintain custody and protect their children, Katie’s is off the charts crazy. They keep throwing her in jail in attempts to intimidate her into silence, and they’ve even targeted her sister and brother for helping her.
In this last lock-up, they’ve placed a $100K bond that they knew she could not afford. She’s been wallowing in a jail cell for going on a half year.
Let’s make the Streisand effect happen—make their efforts to silence Katie put more attention on their unjust tormenting of her by sharing her story:
KATIE’S STORY
Katie gave birth to her first child, Olivia in 2010 and her second, Mason in 2016. However, her marriage was marked by physical, sexual, emotional abuse.
She left her husband not long after Mason was born.
In 2018, the case went before Judge Erin DeLabio, who followed the usual discriminatory pattern of actions.
Judge DeLabio appointed an insider children’s attorney who she knew would steer the case to the father—and he did, with the usual lies and omissions. He is known to be the go-to guy to cover up abuse by fathers and was later rewarded for his great work with children [barf] by being ceremoniously granted a multi-judicial award. Unsurprisingly, he was promoted to a judgeship. Judges are often just corrupt lawyers in black robes.
Katie was denied applications for Restraining Orders multiple times despite reported, corroborated, and documented abuse. She was not allowed to present her evidence and witnesses at the RO hearings.
At the custody trial, Katie was denied the opportunity to bring witnesses, including a licensed certified social worker, family members, and domestic violence advocates. Critical decisions were made without Katie’s input or knowledge by the judge and attorneys in chambers and off the record. This is supposed to be illegal but anything goes in Family Court.
Regardless of the fraudulent report and recommendations by the children’s attorney, Judge DeLabio had ample evidence of the father’s abuse of both Katie and the kids before her and of Katie being the primary nurturer; however, she deliberately disregarded all of it. At the conclusion of this rigged trial, Judge DeLabio executed the great custody switch. She gave the father sole custody.
Katie subsequently submitted an affidavit saying that she's been forced to go into hiding with the kids to protect them from abuse.
ESCAPE TO NEW MEXICO
Katie fled to New Mexico where she and her children lived in peace and safety for three whole years.
Her case got a lot of local media attention. The D.A. claimed that Katie had abducted the children in a “contested” custody battle, saying nothing about the affidavit Katie had submitted claiming abuse. This co-conspirator was later promoted to a judgeship.
The media only told the “official” version of the story. They did not bother interviewing Katie’s family who would have given them the truth. The media was also a co-conspirator.
Katie was caught in February of 2022. It was a huge local news story, following up on the “abduction”. Katie was interviewed as she arrived, handcuffed, at the airport in Buffalo. This gave her a singular chance to let the public know that she had gone into hiding to protect her children and that she would never stop fighting to expose the corruption involved and get her kids back.
She was arraigned in Family Court for “custodial interference”. It is unclear how long she was detained in jail. She was led to believe there were criminal charges against her but later discovered there had not been.
At some point Judge Joanne Sullivan took over the cover up of the cover up.
This is what happens when the above-mentioned individuals tried covering up the corruption by throwing a mother protecting her abused children under the bus, attempting to assassinate her character in the media with calculated lies and deceit.
In May of 2023, Katie was again arrested on charges of custodial interference and spent five days in solitary confinement. This was likely due to her very active social media campaign “Justice for Olivia and Mason” that was placing a lot of international attention on the corrupt actors.
In November of 2023, Katie was arrested at a court hearing on the bogus grounds of contempt of court. She spent 10 days in jail.
But she continued to speak out.
This is what happens when the above-mentioned individuals tried covering up the corruption by throwing a mother protecting her abused children under the bus, attempting to assassinate her character in the media with calculated lies and deceit.
SISTER COMMITTED TO PSYCH WARD
Katie has had a lot of help, especially from her sister, Christine, and her brother, Kevin.
I have a lot of support from family and friends, who witnessed the abuse and the trauma the children and I have been subjected to.
In March of 2024, Katie was arrested at a hearing on her administrative Article 78 complaint of fraud and discrimination by Judge Sullivan. This time they also arrested her sister, Christine, who was acting as her ADA advocate.
Christine was committed to a psychiatric ward on bogus claims by her ex (likely pressured/bribed) that she was delusional and needed to be involuntarily confined. But she had no history of mental illness and was not a danger to herself or others. It was clearly a fraudulent committal and a retaliatory act.
Christine has been forcibly medicated with antipsychotics, which have terrible side effects. Katie had been trying to get her released before she was incarcerated, but could not afford an attorney to help free her. It is unclear whether she has been released since Katie was jailed or if she is still there. [Plz leave in comments if you know.]
Katie’s brother, Kevin, was also subjected to retaliation. He was ordered to do a mental health evaluation and was arrested at least once on bogus charges.
Ever since Katie was caught in hiding, she has not been allowed to see or even speak with her children. She is worried that they are being abused.
This is what happens when a mother does not even know if her children are alive or what forms of abuse they are currently being subjected to.
Katie noted that women she had met in jail for serious crimes were allowed to see their children—but not her. Nor has she been given any information about them.
Interestingly, in May, the original Family Court judge’s (DeLabio’s) brother was arrested by the FBI and charged with attempting to “persuade, induce, entice, and coerce” a child into sex. He was also charged with possessing CSAM (child sexual abuse material). Katie was making this public, all while continuing to accuse the judges and others of “child trafficking”.
That may have been the last straw for the powers-that-be and a plan hatched to jail her for good.
Katie was arrested in October and with a 100K bond, again charged with custodial interference—this time it appears to be a criminal charge. Even so, that is only supposed to be a Class A misdemeanor punishable to up to one year in prison, and probation is even allowed. It certainly does not warrant the 100K bond, but they knew she couldn’t afford that high of bail.
Not to mention she was not charged criminally when she was caught, so it makes no sense that would happen two and a half years later. She had not “custodially interfered” in the intervening years.
TAKEAWAYS
An obvious Takeaway is that Katie was deprived of due process every step of the way. Katie was denied both procedural and substantive due process because she is a woman. That is exactly what our discrimination lawsuit is claiming (see below). Katie even claimed discrimination in her Article 78 complaint.
There has been obvious collusion amongst the various players in Katie’s case just as in Kreslyn’s case—where she had black and white proof. There was also, undoubtedly, corruption in the form of bribery and kickbacks.
But it is important to be clear that generic corruption is not the cause of the Crisis. The profiteering is a symptom of the agenda to keep men entitled after divorce—reward for going along to get along with the agenda to entitle men, discussed in depth in the Cottage Industry Rabbit Hole. Calling what is happening “corruption” or “trafficking” does not get to the core of the problem.
Mind you, this degree of collusion and corruption is never engaged in by family court judges and their lackeys against men. They never go through such incredible contortions to cover up abuse by mothers and switch custody to them, and enable them to keep children away from fathers. Nor do they ever jail fathers who are trying to protect kids from abusive mothers, while this is a common occurrence for mothers.
So, the Takeaway is that Family Court collusion and corruption occur for a decidedly gendered purpose—to keep men empowered over “their” women and children. The profiting is just the reward for those who go along with that agenda.
And, finally, the Before & After Family Court picture is worth a thousand words. Katie was a happy mom with her two kids before entering Family Court, and afterwards—destroyed, imprisoned, without her precious kids. This is happening to countless mothers around the world, who may not be literally in prison but in a kind of emotional prison, having no power to maintain their previous, happy, healthy relationship with their children or to protect them from an abusive ex.
KUDOS to KATIE for fighting so hard for her children and her rights.
Katie dared to hold the powers-that-be responsible for their fraud and discrimination against her and she’s been imprisoned for nearly a half year because of her valiant fight. This is truly horrific. This must end.

THE WOMEN’S REVOLUTION
We have a new url: WomensRevolution.org. This one is easy for the public to remember and, better, it encapsulates our cause. Our focus has been on exposing the Custody Crisis, but we are now focusing on the positive side of the coin: our Revolution to end it.
There were two great revolutions to regain power women had lost due to Patriarchy. The first was mainly for political power (the vote) and the second for financial and social power (women’s lib)—both outside the family.
This new Revolution is to regain power inside the family. Kate Millet famously quipped, “Patriarchy’s chief institution is the family.” So this is, perhaps, the most revolutionary revolution of all. Men have had the power to take and abuse our children for over 10K years. It will take nothing less than a Revolution to overthrow their most coveted patriarchal perk.
Women will remain subjugated as long as men have the power to take and abuse their children. Many women stay in bad relationships to ensure their ability to be with and protect their children. That is an offensive and unacceptable state of affairs and it’s time to end it.
The truth is, women were not really liberated in the last revolution despite it being deemed Women’s Lib. In order to be truly, totally liberated, women must engage in a third major Revolution.

CHAPTER 28: NEXT SECTION IS OUT!
In this section of Chapter 28, the funeral for Legion’s father is behind her and the boys are allowed to stay in Iowa for a few days. She has not seen or spoken with them since Herry abducted them to West Virginia a half year earlier.
Legion is disgusted by the fact that she needs a patriarchally-aligned chaperone and must carry with her a note from the judge allowing her to be around her boys—when she was always their loving, primary nurturer and he the mostly-absent abuser. But at least she gets to see and hug them...
In the last section of Chapter 28, Legion is dealing with her father’s death—his passing into Ancestor status. The judge has given Herry complete control over the boys and he makes good use of it by getting his buddy to go to the funeral specifically to keep the kids away from Legion. She notes how if it had been her trying to take the boys out of state for anything, she would have to beg for the court’s permission but the father can do what he wants when he wants—just another violation of women’s right to equal protection in Family Court.

That task was relegated and delegated not to the Truemaier Boys’ own mother at all but to their Uncle Sterling, a patriarchal duty from which the brother absolutely delighted in deposing me––wearing with its directive … such the very same snide-like sneer as Herry’s!

Women have no enforceable rights in family court. They have no due process and no equal protection. Women are often treated inhumanely by family court judges. Patriarchy controls family court. Children are considered male property. Good mothers are often falsely deemed unfit. They are ordered to be hospitalized for psychiatric evaluations. Women are imprisoned for no good reason. They frequently cannot present witnesses or evidence in family court. Men that have psychiatric and/or criminal records are given child custody. Mothers have their children taken. Separating children from their mothers is harmful. The damage done often lasts a lifetime. Katie is being punished for trying to protect her children. Women do not have the power to protect their children in family court. We need a new system. A jury would give women and children a chance at justice. Family court must end.
Good Evening, after reading this article I lost my appetite. I am disenchanted in the legal system 1000%, The abusers have to loose every time. Women we need to unite and bring down the Family Court System. I can’t believe through 5 family courts my 6 year old can’t get a state attorney, I love him and in 3 days days will be his birthday. 3 year passing and No Auggie. Justice will prevail my friends very soon. The black robes are coming down one by one. Disgusting!!!!!The father holding him hostage isn’t even the real father. Deport him at once.
